The 2013 edition of SongStudio is fast approaching. July 20 – 26 will see the 9th year for the week-‐long songwriting workshop founded and curated by Rik Emmett and Blair Packham.
Once again held at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, SongStudio 2013
features an excellent lineup of faculty and guests, including Tom Wilson (Junkhouse; Blackie & the Rodeo Kings; LeE HarVEY OsMOND), Fergus Hambleton (pop-‐ska veterans The Sattalites), Juno Award-‐winning Lynn Miles, veteran songwriting instructor James Linderman, Moxy Früvous co-‐founder Murray Foster, star
producer Chris Birkett (“Nothing Compares 2 U”, Sinead O’Connor, among many others), Soul II Soul songwriter Simon Law (“Back 2 Life”), young breakout rapper Keysha Fanfair, the award-‐winning Liam Titcomb, and hit songwriter/programmer Rob Wells (Justin Bieber, Backstreet Boys, Olivia Newton-‐John…)
